Water features are becoming an ever-popular form of gardening, and it's easy to see why. Who can resist a ecosystem pond of colorful fish swimming amongst a beautiful display of water lilies and other marginal flowering and foliage plants with the relaxing sound of running water in the background? At first glance, it may seem that water gardening is too complex or too much work for the average gardener, but once a water feature is set up, it requires less work than a typical garden bed. There are no weeds to pull, no wilted plants to water...just an oasis of relaxation in your own backyard.

Fountains / Fountainscapes

Fountainscapes are small decorative water features that provide soothing sights and sounds of running water, incorporating an in-ground reservoir to enhance the appeal of any landscape. Typically found in kits, they come in a variety of styles and sizes such as container water gardens, stand-alone fountains, bubbling urns, spitters, and fountains that can be installed in just a couple of hours. If you love the sound of water, a fountain is your perfect beginning.

TJB-Inc has a variety of options such as copper, plastic, GFRC, faux stone, and natural stone fountains to choose from, or a unique custom built feature for your business or home.

Pondless Water Features

Pondless waterfalls are simply a re-circulating waterfall and/or stream without the presence of a pond. You can enjoy the sight and sound of running water without the maintenance of a pond. The waterfall is undoubtedly the most beautiful and favored feature in a water garden. If space is lacking in your yard or you have safety concerns with a pond, go pondless! The name basically explains it all. It's a waterfall and stream, without the pond.

RainXchange

TJB-INC installs the Aquascape RainXchange™ System for capturing, filtering, and re-using rainwater. A complete system combines a re-circulating decorative water feature with a sub-surface rainwater harvest storage system. TJB-INC is an Aquascape Certified RainXchange Professional Installer for all of the RainXchange products & systems. We work with architects, builders, developers, land planners & home owners to create an ideal solution for your next green building project or renovation.

Water Feature Illumination

Lighting up your water garden at dusk and at night is a beautiful and interesting way to further the enjoyment of your water feature. It creates a feel from your water garden that you just can’t get during the daytime.

Plants, fish and rock take on a whole new life when properly illuminated at night. Imagine sitting on your deck or patio in the evening, listening to the trickle of water from your fountain or waterfall and also being able to see it in a whole new light!

Water Feature Maintenance

TJB-INC offers complete and comprehensive maintenance packages. Rest assured that when you call and hire our pond professionals to start-up and maintain your water feature, your only concern is to sit back and enjoy your very own little piece of paradise! Some clients seem concerned if they see any algae in their pond. Some algae must be present and is a sign of a well balanced Ecosystem!

An excess of algae is a sign of a water imbalance. Typically this is a result from over-feeding fish, lawn fertilizer miss- application, or other outside variables that the water feature has been exposed to. Our experts can diagnose and help remedy these problems for you! On-site consultations with a pond expert are available for a fee. For more information click here.
