What is the Cost?
Installed, a water garden is similarly priced to a hot tub. Unlike a hot tub, your water garden will not use any chemicals, require any test kits and will actually increase the value of your property. A pondless feature will be 1/3 to 1/2 of a similar sized water garden. If you choose a bubbling rock or sculpture, the cost can run from two - five thousand dollars depending upon the cost of the sculpture.

What should a well-designed water garden include?

What Size is Best?
Location and size are the two most important decisions you'll make about your water feature. By some estimates, 90 percent of the original water gardens sold are replaced later with larger ones. An enthusiastic pond hobbyist always finds new plants or interesting fish to add to his investment. As a general rule, a 180 square-feet or 11' x 16' pond is a good "standard" size water garden. Trace your prospective pond out on the ground with a garden hose to help you visualize what the finished size will be.

For a Pondless Waterfall, we look for elevation changes that would naturally lend themselves to a waterfall. But if it is not available, then TJB-INC can create a natural looking berm that will create a gorgous pondless waterfall that is located near the best possible viewing area in your yard. With the proper landscaping, TJB-INC can seamlessly blend your new water feature into your exsisting landscape.

With the inovative AquaBasin, TJB-INC can create small pondless water features indoors or outdoors. We can place a ceramic pot that water fills and flows up and over the top, one or more Basalt Pillars that spout water out the top and splash down the sides, or a sculpture that is created just for this kind of smaller pondless water feature that has water flowing through it. These AquaBasin features can be installed indoors, or outdoors next to (or in) patios, decks, walkways, entryways, or any where the soothing sites & sounds of water are wanted. The AquaBasin features are virtually maintenance free during the season make them great for people who do not want to deal with ponds. With no visual standing water, they are safe for small children or commercial properties that want to dress up an entry or vestibule.
